Who: Incoming 2nd-6th graders (current 6-12 years old) from Mākaha (open to other Wai‘anae moku keiki if spaces are available)

What: Nā Keiki Mahi‘ai Summer Program 2024

Program Dates: June 3 - June 26, 2024 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays

Time: 8:00am-12:00pm 

Location: Hoa ʻĀina O Mākaha + other sites as planned 

Students will engage in hands-on exploration projects on the farm and gain a deeper understanding of sustainability and mahi‘ai practices while forming a meaningful connection to ‘āina and each other. This is a program of Hoa ʻĀina O Mākaha with generous funding provided by the Kamehameha Schools Kaiāulu Program. With this funding, there will be NO COST for your child to participate, but we do expect a full commitment to this program as space is limited.
